My car just went into storage this weekend... won't move again until the Spring so I figured I'd put it up for sale and will sell for the right price. For those with serious interest and pre-approved financing / cash, I will share the VIN and the window sticker. The car stickered just under $58k. 2011 LeMans blue M-sport package, cold weather package, Harmon Kardon, Navigation and premium package w/black Dakota leather, 16.6k original miles. The car was purchased by me brand new and is one owner with no accidents. The car was professionally detailed with Teflon paint sealant on 11/9/12 before storage. I have added the following upgrades and had them professionally installed: 1. Rotora BBK - all four corners (can have stock if you prefer) 2. 19" HRE 840R wheels (can have stock 18" 189's if you prefer) 3. OEM BMW Performance accessories: painted rear diffuser, black front kidneys, alcantara steering wheel trim, ebrake handle and gear selector 4. OEM BMW Performance Carbon Fiber trim (do not have the Glacier anymore) 5. BMW OEM accessories: sunglasses holder above the door, cubby hole insert with door, winter mats, trunk mat (everything except cubby hole insert can be negotiated) 6. Llumar 35% window tint all the way around 7. DiMisa 100mm black dual exhaust tips 8. Depo clear reflectors and Jlevis SW black rear badge I'm sure there are some more items, but those are the major ones. The car is seriously in mint condition. It has been stored every winter and has only been caught in the rain a few times. I don't allow people to eat in the car and the back seat has only been used a handful of times. All TSB's and recalls (software/EGR mixer) have been completed in October. Feel free to make a reasonable offer (let me know about items 1 and 2). ![]() ![]() ![]()

Sorry, posted too fast. It is a 2011 with 16.6k original miles. I also updated original post. Thanks for the interest.

In our area it actually gets really cold and it snows.
![]() Car gets stored from Nov - Mar/Apr depending on when we thaw out. We use a lot of salt/sand here and I prefer not to drive a rwd car in the elements. I know it is only a BMW, but I really baby it.

These cars are made in Germany for ALL weather markets. I just moved back from EU and I can tell you that your weather is very much comparable with the Northern Europe and the road conditions, too. However, I understand your position. |

I can tell you that Lake Michigan produces "lake effect" which is quite nasty. Having lived most of my life in Illinois (other side of the lake), this side of the lake is much worse for snow.

It did, but it looked cheap. I replaced with the OEM Performance alcantara trim to match the rest of my Performance upgrades. If I keep the car, I'm hunting for the M3 trim. When the "M" sits in the pocket, looks much better than the included non-M3 trim where the "M" looks stuck on as an afterthought.

OP - could you please send an e-mail to jhteague@gmail.com with price info (minus options 1 and 2)?
I'd PM but with a newly created account it won't let me. Thanks. Last edited by 35mphgolf; 11-14-2012 at 01:52 PM. |

I took it to a dyno once, but it has never seen a track. It did get driven on the Autobahn but has never exceeded 130mph because of break in period.
PM me with an offer when you are able to. Would be happy to talk to anyone with serious interest.

Buyer backed out - car is up for sale for $42k w/o options 1 or 2 - stock brakes and 189's will be included. Will heavily discount options 1 or 2 ONLY with purchase of car.
