To be completely honest, as far as power under the curve is concerned the s65 dyno is the one that looks like shit.

LOL. Sure, put this car up against that supercharged S65 and we will see who wins in a sprint while you are spinning tire with your awesome 630 torque...

Really happy that this motor is still being pushed for more power with different set-ups!!

As I said on the other forum...if 631-670wtq can actually last on this car and others...we will legitimately lay claim to something the much fapped-over VR38DETT can't...the ability to hold over 600wtq on a stock bottom end.

Lol I'll put $100 on the 335i to win by 5 car links in a 60-130 pull

TQ curve is not impressive as it dips quickly. Nice numbers though.

Very impressive numbers, but it sucks having the power fall on its face, you would have to shift so early, and it just takes all the fun away.

Don't worry, my right foot is only one part of a body which wins consitently behind the wheel.

+1, I can personally attest to this, and I most certainly am not putting down 630wtq.

Nice numbers, but this is a record for RBs and not N54's, right?

Might be a torque record. My car made 657whp with an E85 mix.

Honestly, who cares. A supercharged M3 was raping cars at the Shift Sector event.

I think the problem here is that people are looking at a DYNO sheet and trying to pull performance numbers/speculation out of it. Over simplifying hurts.

Its a dyno sheet. Its got prob the most torque ever seen on an N54. Show kudos to ptf for DYNOing those numbers and move on. If people wanna complain about how the powerband won't make the car fast, ect, then wait until he posts up a thread about vbox numbers or dragstrip numbers. Maybe the car will fall flat on its face? Maybe the car will be so fast it will travel back in time at 88mph? Until then, stop nitpicking this. Over and out.

The great thing about a car is that you modulate power output with your foot. If someone wants to overlay the dynos of Dzenno's car on top of that supercharged M3 dyno you will see how the tq (although not flat) still is well above the tq of the flat curve from the m3.

The point of this dyno post was to show where the car is going with some tuning (not finished) on a ported head and where that can take us. As we add more timing to the top end and shift setpoints and boost a little further north you will see things flatten out.

When the tune is finished we will post the curve up again. We will be going on to e85, ms109, and different mixes and matches of these with meth as well to push the car and see what it is capable of. You all know Dzenno is not gentle with the car and you will see any and all info as he beats on it and records data for everyone to benefit from.

I was with Dzenno last night in his car and the car is something from another dimension. It is truly scary fast when that torque mountain picks you up and carries you like a huge wave of power and yet it does it ever so smoothly too. I love torque and especially down lower, gets the mass of the car moving. On the street this car will really put to shame many seriously fast cars.
