You are leaking boost, and I am 100% sure about that. Can you add WGDC (Wastegate Duty Cycle) to the graph and re-upload it? I want to take a look. If the JB4 was targeting stock boost, the pink line wouldn't be as high as it is, so you have a hardware problem.
Start diagnosing for boost leaks. Since you are basically stock, check the charge pipe for any obvious cracks, oil on it outside, a crack near the throttle bosy connection, and separations at the elbow section. We can go from there. 30FF is underboost code FYI. That means you arn't hitting target, so it really can't be a software problem. |

Hi
the boost leak has only manifested itself since fitting the JB4. So you think the increased boost has highlighted a existing condition? Would make sense i guess. I did discover that like a noob i had not manuallt set the AFR's . Is it worth me loading map 1, setiing them correct and trying a run?

Fitting the JB4 sure could have caused the boost leak, and most likely did. Whenever you run more boost through the stock piping, theres a much greater chance of it breaking/coming loose at some point. Some people just get lucky with the stock components not leaking. I don't want to say it's your charge pipe that's leaking the boost, as it could also be failing DV's or loose/damaged intercooler connections. Just check the CP first so we can hopefully rule it out if it's in good condition. How many miles do you have on your car? You could also have weak/broken vacuum lines causing the issue. Like I said we just need to go through all the steps to hopefully narrow it down |

It has just ticked over 65,000 miles. Might just change the charge pipe anyway. Any proven ones i should look at?

I would reccomend going with ER's charge pipe, because it's all metal and utilizes the stock throttle body C-clip connector. Most people here run the ER. You can choose to use a BOV, stock DV's, or Forged DV's with it too.

yeah, something is going on with it preventing you from hitting target, makes sense, i dont think you would suddenly see such an epic boost leak from only installing the jb4

OK mate, will see what it does on the Dyno. Going to load the default map 1 settings and see what happens. Hopefully it will hold enough boost to give me some numbers on Saturday. It is entirely possible that i have ****** something up settings wise, we shall see.

ok this is a weird one, boost leak gone. Done nothing to the car well other than topped up with 05 35 oil. WTF is going on?
