Took a road trip in the whip! The roads are absolutely terrible there! I knew driving that distance I would have to take some extreme measures for the extreme terrain. Anyway here are a couple pics (iPhone) of the prep for the drive there, the Detroit skyline and the prep for the way back. Don't laugh haha it took me some time! Hope y'all enjoy

I tried doing this for my trip from Tucson to San Antonio, tape was ripping off before I left Tucson..

Haha yeah I wanted blue but all they had where I went was this green. Got a TON of attention hahaha. It did look pretty good too actually. I got back and left it on for a day. It really catches people's eyes lol

I just layered it on there. During high speeds it would peel up a little bit but you have to layer it so that the seems are covered by the next layer of tape. If the seem is exposed on the bottom the wind will catch it and peel it up. Hope this helps lol it only took about 30 mins to tape up and about 5 to take off.

i've taped up my E90 a few times for a MI to CT trip. not a stylish green but the blue painters tape did well.

Lol yeah they ran out of blue at the napa by my house so I just picked up what they had. Worked great but I do wish I would have went a little higher up on the hood like you did. Got a few chips I gotta rub out now

I get that alot :P they only rub when I turn and hit a bump or when Im backing up and turning slowly other than that they are perfect
