Hold on. What are the mods on each car?
Is it a stock car with just a Procede and Meth vs. FBO with no tune?
That sounds like a close race to me.
What if I started a thread and asked, 'Which mods work best? A tune with meth and all stock parts, or go FBO with no tune? Which is faster?'
I know, I know, the first answer would be 'Do A Search!!!11!11" lol

Well Dave, easy answer. I'm FBO and put down 270 whp and 290 wtq without tune or meth. With tune and meth 440 whp and 503 wtq. There is NO WAY a car without a tune would be able to keep up with me. Even a 430 hp M3 didn't stand a chance. You also need to keep into perspective just because a tuned car is faster, you can't judge performance just by looking at the video's. I pulled so hard on a CLK500 that you couldn't hardly see him in the video when I finished. I would use that as a comparison between a stock 335 and a well tuned FBO 335 with stock turbo's. Now, when you talk upgraded turbo's, whole different game.

Lol you guys crack me up. The gray car is a FBO A/T. It is running a tune. It's called OE Tuning. I honestly had never heard of it until the guy told me. I looked it up and it's real. So yes this guy was putting down some regular FBO with tune power but he didn't know how much whp.

My car is just Vishnu Procede, Procede flash, PWM meth kit and intake.
I am a 6-speed m/t 4 door.

I hope you guys now see why this video is a good race. My car with no bolt ons, virtually bone stock with just tune and meth was able to pull pretty hard on a FBO car with A/T.

I have literally invested only around 2 grand into my car and I'm there at the airstrip hanging with some fast cars all day having a blast. You guys should try sometime.

OE Tuning it's a company.

If this car was on a stock tune I would have put a few bus lengths on him.

Thanks longboarder! Shocked to see it up so fast. Yea it's some random company I had never heard of. I looked it up and it's real. I think it's a flash. It was faster than I expected.

Ah, that was the missing piece of the puzzle. OE Tune is not OEM.

So a FBO 335i with stock tune make the same WHP as a Stock 335i? My 08 335i AT in stock form made 274 WHP stock.

No of course not. The bolt-on mods will increase HP.

I've seen base lines all over the board and DPs and DCI could give you a few extra hp vs stock, but for the most part not much. How much air is pulled into and pushed out of your engine at 270 hp compared to 450 hp?
