Also, I'm only running the stock 255/30s on the rear which would be a fraction smaller than your 265/30s. That could also possibly be why mine doesn't rub as much. |

M-Suspension comes with M-Sport 335i if I'm not wrong as well.
On flat road with stock wheels and stock tyres size, I have 2 fingers gap (F) and no finger gap (R)

Well I recall when I ran the vin check the car had quite a few options, and I noticed something along the lines of sport suspension settings came up?
My rear shock: part number lists it as m sport? http://parts.bmwofsouthatlanta.com/p...526771729.html Last edited by DR-JEKL; 11-15-2012 at 10:36 PM.. |

You have:
S226A *SPORTLICHE FAHRWERKSABSTIMMUNG *Sports suspension settings I have: S704A *M SPORTFAHRWERK *M Sports suspension I'm not too sure if they are the same or different. PS: Yes, your car is quite heavily optioned except MSport Kit, USB and Auto Trans :P. It looks like you have folding mirror?

I have some pics though they are shite... not showing the car in its true state.
I detailed it and are due to take some better pics in the next few days.. The car is awesome...it drives, looks and feels brand new. It had 36,000 easy k's on the clock.... Weird thing started happening the other day. Error message saying the passenger Brake tail light blown... Error comes up each time I start the car. Even stranger is that when I apply the brake the tail light comes on, though If I activate the rear fog lights button at the headlight switch module then the brake light ceases to work....??? Then when I turn off the rear fog the brake light comes on again when I depress the brake pedal.....WTF. Daytime rear tails work just fine also. It only stops working when the rear fogs are activated. I think this is my initiation to BMW ownership..!!!! Did the pics load...I have ? symbols on my view of the page.. |

I agree....When I first saw it I really had a dislike for it....
Even contemplated swapping out the seats and door trim away from the Coral Red. Every car I had bought prior, had black leather so the change was an eyesore to begin with..... 1 week later I loved it..... |

Looking to tune in the New Year....Just wanted to get used to the change in power first. It drives like a dream though it has not had a single update performed since new. Get a service and codes out of the way soon, then let the mods begin.

Well yesterday was a productive day, I managed to have the procede installed and then attended the advan dyno day straight afterwards to get a run on the dyno to see what a stock 335i puts out with a procede only.
First of all a huge thanks to Adrian of Vishnu, he is conveniently located not far from the end of the F3 freeway and is a true petrolhead enthuisiast rather then the type who is just in the scene to make a quick buck. Whilst the install is well demonstrated in the installation videos, I wanted a peace of mind by having an expert install it and he certainly made short work of ripping my engine bay plastics apart and the spaghetti arrangement of plugs going into the oem ecu. For those of you who are considering a power upgrade I recommend having a talk with Adrian and also getting the install done by him if you're in the nsw region. http://www.1addicts.com/forums/member.php?u=67206 It was a great day at the dyno day and seeing Gerry's M3 on the rollers and the VO 1M was awesome! A few pics I quickly took at the dyno day can be found here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...=757560&page=2 Talking to the 1M owner shortly afterwards, his car has the meisterschaft gt exhaust which sounded wickedly loud, would our 335's sound as good with a 335i meisterschaft system fitted? Witnessing a few 335i's up on the rollers prior to my car all suffered from a drop in power at higher speeds, and for 1 unfortunate owner his HPFP was to blame and is on its way out... There wasn't enough wood to touch in the place before my car was up, but thankfully it didn't do too bad at all but like most other 'tuned' 335i's on the day mine also dropped off in power... But having said that the car drives great and now really pulls hard in 1st and 2nd gear and the dash is certainly lighting up like a xmas tree now with a host of flashing lights! So now its time to get those AR design DP's in, AFE intake & Active Autowerke CP & BOV also! |

So the difference between your car (ECU + Exhaust) and Advan's car (ECU + AFE dual cone + AR DP + ER charge pipe with Tile BOV) is 18 kw plus the fact that the power stays flat all the way to redline?

Ian had a look at my car and he just thinks it has welded on tips... So my 221kw is with an ecu only. Also Peters car only has 20k odd kays mine has 70k kays (less kays normally means slightly more power) |
