GB Window Trim &/or Interior trim 3M Wrap day
Hey guys
I'm just negotiating with zen garage to try and do a group buy install day to have a 3M technician to wrap either your window trim and or interior trim pieces. At this stage its just for these items, but if you wish to go for a roof/bonnet/boot wrap I'm sure this is possible also! I shall get some prices for you all soon, but if you're interested please let me know so I can add you to the list, Examples of 3m wraps: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=711685 http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=631281 http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=738772 http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=623470 http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...hlight=3m+wrap Of course you can have what ever finish you desire from 3M's range: http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3...s/CarWrapping/ Zen Garage: http://zengarage.com.au/ 1. OK guys we now have some prices (huge thanks to Ben for taking his car to them for a quote) unfortunately they aren't in the ball park as far as I'm concerned! Interior and window trim is easy.. I did it myself and I have 35 metres of matte black, carbon fibre black and gloss black at home lol. I can probably do it for you to save you the money

Where are the pics?!? I'm curious to know how the vinyl on the window trims stand up after being subjected to the weather (if it starts to fade or peel from the edges) |

Best way to do it would be to remove the trim and wrap/curve the vinyl underneath it, that way it will never lift.
This would offer piece of mind and should be the best way to do it. |

It's gotta be wrapped while on the car. I'm curious to know how it goes long term too Wrapping is a great value alternative to replacing it with the OEM Shadowline trim... and tbh I would probably do that myself as I'm a tightass :P BUT the only little thing that gets me is the join line and you can always tell it's wrapped. |

We'll i guess the work around is to make sure it's tucked in good! Still the chance of it lifting due to the size of the trim being so narrow. |

not if you use the heat gun to mold the wrap around the edges. And even if it lifts again, just use the heat gun again lol
