Hi,
Firstly, check that the pivot pin is still in place fully. Inspect the free play as you wiggle the pedal and see if you can tell where the play is. Is this something that suddenly happened or has it been getting gradually worse? It's very rare for wear to occur here but it is possible. |

This happened to me about two weeks ago. I took it to the dealership and they replaced the clutch pedal assembly. A spring had apparently come loose and popped off causing the pivot pin to back out and allow the pedal to move side to side.

Mine is pretty bad. Such a pain to get up in that area though. Rogue makes new bushings that may help. |
