paint chip under clear bra - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Hi folks. I just had clear bra installed on my car. It wasn't until after that's done I noticed that there are a couple of pin sized paint chips on my hood under the clear bra. They look clean (the installer spent a lot of time cleaning and claybaring the install areas), but I can see the bare metal. See pics below for details (I used a dime for size reference). My question is, is rusting going to be an issue in the future? I live in Texas by the way.

They shouldn't be an issue. I had a few rock chips on my hood when my clear bra was installed over 4 years ago. No problems here so far...

I'm pretty sure the hood is Aluminum on most new BMW's so no RUST!
