*Pic Request* e46 18" M3 wheels--> e92 335i

Like the title reads.

I looked but couldn't find any pics of them on a e92. I have a space grey 08' e92 335i and found a set of 18" e46 m3 rims and tires for a pretty good deal. I know they will fit and the fronts will need a set of 10 or 15mm spacers to refill the front gap.

If anyone could post a pic a e92 with these wheels, that would be awesome especially on a space grey e92.

Thanks in advance!

-Nick

Also wondering what color to powdercoat them. Being that my car is shadow grey, not a lot of different color wheels look best on them. Im thinking of the following colors:

- Dark bronze
- Hyper black
- Matte black

Please post any other colors that may look good on a SG coupe??

Mounted up the e46 M3 wheels this morning just to see how they looked. Dont know if im crazy about them or not. The only reason I bought them was because it was time for my car to get new tires and found these on CL for $500. Tires are basically brand new but the rims have seen better days for sure. The fronts have a +47 offset so it would need a 20mm spacer to make it flush like the rears are.

My options now are:

- Just have the tires off the M3 wheels mounted on my factroy 189 rims and list the m3 rims back on CL to recoupe some of the funds.

or

- Powdercoat the M3 wheels and order a set of 20mm spacers for the front.

Here some pics:

^ they're ok but not great looking on the e92

btw the overall diameter of the wheels/tires looks smaller than stock e92, whats the size of the tires you have on those e46 rims?

Yeah I was thinking the e46 wheels looked smaller on the car also. The tires on the rims are the same sizes that come on the e92 (225/40/18+255/35/18)

All though its not the cheapest route, I recommend getting another set and putting the rear wheels on the front. It looks great and works just as well by tightening the front end up a bit and giving it a better ride. I did the same with mine and sold the fronts as a non-staggered set to recover some of my money.http://www.e90post.com/forums/attach...1&d=1374849081

So you have no rubbing using these wheels? I was considering picking some of these up for winter wheels as I found a pretty good deal... How are you liking them and how do you think they would look on an alpine white. Mine also has an aftermarket suspension and is lowered. I plan on raising the car up in the coming weeks as it is just too low. Thanks!
