If the deal is good enough then just take the wheels off the car and then go get new tires installed. Then, put them back on the car.

I was just at Costco today and they had no problem putting non-Runflats on my car. Still trying to decide but leaning towards PSS since I need traction!!

Find a different tire shop.
The car will ride and handle fine.

RFT are on the car because BMW opted to get rid of a spare. If a car has no spare then RFT are required from the manufacturer. You can always decide to carry a spare. Safety issue is crap.... AAA shops up wherever I am to tow me home.

Awesome - once you have your nonRFTs mounted would you mind posting what Costco you used? I'll see if I can have my Costco contact your store to try and influence mine to do it (but I don't want to ruin you getting it done by contacting them before).

TIA.

Indianapolis - but based on what I saw online, most seem able to put on non RFTs. I didn't actually order mine yet, thinking about doing Tire Rack and using a recommended installer.
