Angels stay on after leaving car

Does anybody know if there is any way to code the angel eyes to stay on for a few seconds after exiting the car?

I swear i used to have this functionality...


or...

having the angel eyes illuminate when you press lock for a few seconds (similar to pressing unlock)?

i was hoping there was a code to do that, but there isn't one. I seen some e46 be able to do that but not on the e90s. I know that if you unlock your car the AE turn on.

Im pretty sure that there is a command for AE to work as leaving home but after pull the light lever. I sqaw that kind of thing once in a parking lot so he must do it somehow

Yes, its called pathway lighting. Follow me home lights which are similar are only available on newer cars with FRM3 modules.

ichibanumba1 isnt referring to pushing the light stalk though

Is Pathway lighting the one that can be coded on to work off the trunk remote switch?

I show the code in my FRM, does that mean it will work? ('06 330i)

Pathway lighting is the one that works by having it on and then flashing your high-beams when the car is off before you exit the vehicle.

Follow me Home lights are the lights that function in conjunction with the trunk button on the FOB and require FRM3 modules.

Ahhh. I found a thread somewhere where a guy had FMH lights and coded them on with the trunk button, but called them pathway.
Can anything be done with pathway? I'd love to be able to turn them on remotely, say when I walk up to the car. Or similar, maybe AEs, or Low Beams.

Since you want to use the remote, follow me home sounds exactly like what you're trying to achieve but like Grant said, FRM3 is required. Pathway lighting only works with the stalk
