FYI I put one on my E90...I have 3in kitty-less DPs as well. I liked the sound alright.

Last week I just had the "h pipe" removed and an "x" installed. WAY BETTER. But a good price for a complete exhaust.

I also did not mind the tailpipe sticking out a bit from the bumper.
