New e90 Owner!!! - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Hey, so I just picked up my new(used) car today. It's a 2006 330xi, which apparently is cool because it was only made for one year, so I read here. Anyway, so far I only drove it home from the dealer but it already seems awesome. It seems to be fully loaded with nav, sport and winter package. The only thing I can tell it doesnt have is backup sensors and comfort access.

No pics yet since it's too dark and its a dark gray.

I have a lot of work to put into it, it came with a lot of dings that I'm not happy about, but I'm hoping for some detailing feedback while I'm on this forum. Used to be on bimmerforums with my e36 a lot.

Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself to the forum since I officially got my car today and I'm really excited. Feel free to let me know what I should do as a new e90 owner.

As with any other used car, trust no one

Replace all liquids start from engine oil.

Read errors from car, clear all errors and read errors in couple days again.

Quick question, since I just bought this car and I'm not 100% sure of what this car is supposed to have in it, would I be able to bring it to a dealer and have them tell me what features it's supposed to have. I'm getting really curious now because I noticed my mirrors don't work and the used car dealer I bought it from said it was because someone stole the mirror switch and he replaced it but I guess the replacement didn't work...

BUT I noticed the replacement doesn't have the electric fold in button for the mirrors which I think the car should have... So I really want to know how to find out more about the car's features and if a BMW dealer would tell me... for free lol.

P.S. Here is the only pic I've been able to snag (@ work @ JFK airport) since everytime I get home it's getting dark already.
