Fuse and warning symbols for all cars

I have previously searched for the fuse and warning symbol explanation and having found a comprehensive list, thought I'll post it for all. As we all know reading of fuse symbol in the BMW fuse box can be really confusing. Hope I have posted in the right thread.

BMW fuse diagram

Hi, My wife has a BMW 1 series (2010) which has developed a strange fault. The indicators no longer flash when the car is locked or unlocked ( I have checked the computer settings are not switched off). Coupled with this the alarm has stopped working although the central locking is OK.
I have checked the fuses that I think could be the cause, but found them to be intact. The fuse drawing is not all that clear and I would greatly appreciate any thoughts or clarification of what each symbol means in case there is a circuit fuse that I have not checked.
The previous drawings links no longer work.
Many thanks.
