Cobb E85 - DTC=P2AAF

Running Cobb E85 map.
And everytime I go WOT I get a DTC code of P2AAF (Fuel Pump, Plausibilty).

I did a search and the consensus seems that just that code alone is not a concern

Anyone else running the Cobb E30 OTS map (6MT) have this issue?

I have yet to run any logs. Is this the type pf code one should expect to see when your fuel trims are maxing out?

The code has nothing to do with maxing out fuel trims but do yourself a favor and log STFT's and LTFT's if you are going to continue to run E30.

I have had this code even prior to running 2AAF. I found a thread a week or so ago that showed the steps the dealer takes when replacing the LPFP. It stated that this code alone, is nothing to be concerned about.

ok thanks JStang
I just thought it was odd/coincidental that I only threw this code when WOT with E30 map.
Could be my LPFP is on its way out...
I'll wait til the car starts throwing other codes as well before having the dealer check it out.

Log LPFP requested and actual. See if your fuel pump is not keeping up with demands.

This.

Also, I'd say grab a datalog with bank 1 STFT and LTFT just to be sure but the OTS e30 maps are usually perfect as far as that's concerned.

yeah i think my problem is i went a tad bit overboard with e85(e70 or whatever blend the gas station im going to is using for the winter)
I put in 8g E85 and 8g 93oct...

Before this last fillup I was using closer to a 6g E85 10g 93oct mix and was throwing no codes... and LTFT/STFT logs looked good with the exception of some minor timing pulls.

When i get a chance I'll log with this fuel mixture and see how it looks...
I may have to turn down the mixture a bit going forward to prevent the DTC code.

It's hard to say what the blends are, unless you have the flex fuel kit. Even 6 gallons is high for E30. I would start at min. 4.25 to 4.5 gallons of E85 to a full tank and log from there as your baseline.
