AR Catless DP Check Engine Light??? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Im just about to get my AR Catless Downpipe online. A quick question though, am i gonna get ' Check Engine ' light after the install???

And will fit on my stock configuration?

Works fine, light is normal, it says your catalyst converter doesn't work (you removed it...)

Your choices:

- Live with the light
- Replace your stock catted dp
- Get a BMS CAN Tool (to auto clear the code
- Get a tune that will auto clear the code and most importantly will give you some real benefit...

For the N55 engine, the burger dp fix does not work. They were working on a N55 version at one point, but I think he has stopped production. Like Kalud suggested, I use a tune to auto-clear CEL lights. The JB4 by Burger is good, and so is the Procede.

The thing is that im waiting for COBB's god damn tune. Aghh it's kinda depressing.

Will be living with the code until Cobb comes out

You guys think we can get some funds to donate to BMS to make us an N55 dp fix? Like if everyone pitches in 10 dollars and we give it to terry for him to make one? Cuz our N55 platform isn't getting much attention the way it is, the F30 is getting all the attention and N54 is still doing good.

You might be waiting for a long while then. Even when COBB releases their N55 tune, it'll be strictly for Stock Applications at 1st. Then probably the Stage 1+ Maps (Tune + FMIC), and eventually Stage 2 (Tune + DPs) and 2+ (FBO)

Either get your DPs & install them with a BMS or Vishnu tune. OR buy them & sit on them until the COBB tune & maps are released.

Buy the JB4 Stage2 with the downpipes and you will be all set. Its pretty pointless getting downpipes without a tune IMO.
