Cheap car covers.
Hi guys.
I do not ever use car covers, but as I have spent a little more money on my car than I have in the past and I am going away for 2 weeks over the winter. I thought I would protect my investment. I was going to buy a cheap car cover. I will probably use it when I go on a holiday. So not too often. Do you think something like this would be suitable for rare usage? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-7M-Mediu...item2ec217a778 My cars paint work is not in the greatest condition and needs a detail. So once I am back after my holiday and removed the cover that may have introduced some minor scratches, I will have it detailed. Thanks guys Josh

I normally wouldn't ever suggest a cheap car cover. They are tough on paint , especially if they are in a windy area and left on for a long period of time. But since you said the paint could already use some correction and you'd only use it occasionally, then I wouldn't worry about it too much. Any small scratches it would cause in the paint can probably be taken care of with a good detailing. But cheap covers left on outdoors for long periods of time can be brutal on paint

Thanks for the help guys
Do you think Is it worth throwing a couple of blankets over the top of the car before putting on the budget cover? D you think medium will be the right fitment Cheers
