Vrsf & Ar Dp
So people have been bringing up the subject of what's the difference between these two. Anyone have actual experience? My understanding is a dp is a dp if it is welded and reinforced properly they should all be the same?

If that's the only reason I think it's a poor reason since many things are made in china and still have some quality in the products. Was hoping to hear anything about details on fitment or performance.

I have the N55 AR and I love the way it sounds. As far as fitment that's another story. The 2 ends of the DP bolted up fine. The problem was the 2 brackets on the top of the DP that's meant to be bolted onto your car. They just didn't line up correctly. One fit perfectly flush and the other one had a good centimeter gap. We ended up having to cut the 2nd bracket off and now it's just being held by one. I haven't had any problems with it yet. The guy at the shop said they've done numerous AR DP's and this was te first time he's seen a bad fitment by them. So many I just got a bad egg :/

AR definitely makes quality products, if we didn't have an option available, I'd definitely consider their downpipe. We just introduced our DP for the N55 a couple months ago and have had nothing but praise so far. If you're going to discriminant based on where a product is made, I suggest you take a look on the clothing tag on the shirt you're wearing. Almost everything you own is produced overseas.
With that said, we offer a lifetime guarantee against defects & fitment ![]() Here's a few pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Tiago@VRSF; 11-29-2012 at 09:36 PM. |
