So I paypal'd these guys the funds. Awesome price on the r4's.
However they wont be back in stock for 3-4 weeks.

Id rather not wait. Also i dont trust they will ever be back in stock, no one has these anymore, DLS confirmed they are discontinued.

Since they already have some cash of mine, what would you suggest as a replacement?

I have asked for a special price on the Focal 100 VRS
but there seems to be other awesome sets in there as well.

cant find any info on the fitment of the german maestro
not going to bother with the new MB Quart, prob not my style.
I really think the r4's are the best for me, so would have to be something very similar/comparable. (also price...)

One thing i noticed is the r4's seem to have great range and power in comparison to a lot of the other units. Id hate to spend the same or more on something with less potential.

Please leave a comment on which you think works best on an e90 and why. (e90 coded hifi, xd 600, sws8xi)

Focal I100vrs for an extra 60 euros (im not impressed by the specs...compared to r4s)
Focal 100KRS for an extra 100 euros (much better spec, although the range starts a 120hz?) (so they dont go as low as the r4s?? should i care with sws8?)

Rainbow dreamline for 30 euros less..but i dont think they are very good based on the specs.

any suggestions?

ive seen only 1 mention on this system and it wasnt very exciting.

have you had any experience?

i was thinking 3-400$ components and the sws8xi for now.

i may just have the paypal reverted and hold off until i find some decent components...or just get the morel ovations

I do not think that the R4 as discontinued as the last set that I got has been improved over the previous set of last year (mid cone is of different material). A customer of mine just got the last set from this seller 3 weeks ago.

For the price, the R4 are the best component set for the E90. It even works quite great with OEM power.
