16 inch winters with steel wheels
A close friend of mine has just moved to Australia, before going he sold his e92 and he was going to give his set of winter wheels away with it. I told him that I could probably shift them for him on here, so here I am trying to shift them for him.
They are Goodyear Ultragrip tyres on steel wheels with BMW trims, all of them are 205/55/16. My friend tells me he has not put any more than 5,000 miles on them so tread is there in abundance. These are not run flats but I think a single can of tyre weld is all that would be needed. They are in good condition, I have not noticed any curbing on them. He said he paid over £700 for these from Knights BMW about 2 years ago, I guess a sensible price for them now would be about £350? I am in Stoke-on-Trent but I am also in Reading during the run-up to Christmas, so I can meet up if needed. Sorry about the quality of the pics, I took them with my iPhone: ![]() ![]() |

I need to check that. To be honest I don't know how to (or where to) measure tread depth. They have only been driven for a few thousand miles. I will check the tyres tomorrow for you.

Measure how deep one of the large grooves is on the middle of the tyre and that will give you the tread depth.

I'm amazed they haven't gone. I'd have them if only they'd fit my car

These would fit your car so I'm assuming you already have a set?

I guess they don't fit over the brakes on 6 cyl cars?
