e90 Car wouldn't start - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Hey guys, last couple days when I would start the car I felt it wasn't a strong start. This morning I tried starting it and lights would come on for a few seconds but nothing else. So basically it ai't starting. I am thinking its the battery which is weak and I probably have to replace it.

Quick questions, do I have to pick up a battery from BMW dealership or can I pickup one somewhere else like NAPA?
Secondly I don't think installing it myself should be that hard.

Please give me your thoughts and suggestions.

You can get a new battery via RMP, Rocco can also code it for you.

I had a similar issue, but my car wouldn't start after refilling! Don't mean to hijack your thread at all! Apologies but it is driving me nuts! Anyone have any thoughts on this as well?

I got my battery replaced with RMP...Price was amazing and can't complain.

u mean.. after refilling the gas???
or even after changing the battery???

Happened twice after refilling gas! Not sure if its an evap issue! Had to turn it over 3 times to restart it

Yes it is! I put ultra 94 in it to see if it makes a difference! I will fill it before the low fuel light goes on

was the battery in fact defective or just low charge?

I had a similar issue about a month ago, but it was just because over the course of 74k miles, the battery doesn't receive *as much* charge at once... getting ti charged at the typical auto parts store got it back up and running.
