not on a black bike in my opinion, too much red on a black looks gaudy, didnt like it on the top pic.. maybe it will look dif in person though, upgrade rear tire?

That color looks good. I'm liking all kinds of colors on bikes that may not be my preference for me on a car.

Obviously that is what happened to me. I was building that E30, got it to a finished point. Thought about turbo but instead got a bike. Now on the bike I get more bang for the buck as an adrenaline pump. Hell, even blasting around the mountains I get better mileage than the car on the highway. I want to have a bike like a Beemer to graduate to one day. Kind of like me starting with Hondas then Acuras then moving up to BMWs

The S1000RR is one serious machine, but I don't think all THAT many people have them around here.
I'm on a super-naked (street-fighter) class bike--a full on liter bike--and even I hesitate to get on one of those S1000s. They are so over-the-top monstrous. And pretty much the rest of BMW's bike lineup is adventure touring or semi-offroad-ish. Different crowd.

Its hard to go that way (and I can understand why I don't see more MVs) when you can get a good Japanese bike and trip over dealerships every 5 feet or get a Duc and still have good support and everyone thinks its a super exotic (Monsters are cheap and carry the cache so you see them everywhere). |

Yeah i definitely couldn't drive a bright yellow bmw. You'd think being bright yellow would help people see you better but no, it just proves that people don't look for us bikers.

My black/blue 07 GSX-R600 & my buddies charcoal gray 07 R6.
This is an old pic from the day I bought my bike. Looks somewhat different now. Selling it soon to fund my e92 project. |

I recently bought a 335i after owning R1200GS for a couple of years. Yeah, motorcycle is faster, but after jb4, dci and E85 mix on map 5 I'd say 335i is quite a hoot. Although I'd never take her into the dirt...

The only thing that sucks about bikes where I live is that you have to keep it in storage for at least six months to not so friendly riding weather. Other than that this makes me wish I had a bike!

Just move South. Not only do you get a longer riding season but all of the other benefits of not dealing with frigid weather.

The funny thing is, when I drive my E90 after i drive my wife's car, it seems rough. However when I drive my E90 after I ride my RC51 (1000cc V-twin) motorcycle, my E90 seems so smooth. And of course I can't even compare any one of those with my Track bike, a totally different kind of animal.
