AR 4" Down Pipe - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Just ordered my AR 4" down pipe from Mike over at N54Tuning. He is running a Black Friday special so I couldn't really pass it up!

$499 + $40 shipping.

Car is in the shop now getting the vanos system looked at since it is making a knocking noise and car just had yearly inspection last month so surely by next year there will be a dp fix. Now I just have to wait to get the car back and for UPS to deliver...time to research DIYs!

OT: I miss my car...the 4 cylinder turbo 328 loaner just doesn't cut it.

You have jb4 right? You dont need a dp fix

Yes the JB4 has the CEL clear for the O2 sensor, but it keeps it in Not Ready state. In Texas I can't have more than 1 sensor in a Not Ready/Failed state. I had to disable the JB4 for my inspection last month because I guess there are 3 sensor readings for O2 alone, which automatically is a fail.

Hey, I'll be installing when I get the car back. If I don't just pay someone to install for me, and I feel balls-y enough to do it myself, I'll try to do up a really good DIY.

I haven't installed it yet because the car is in the dealership for a possible new engine. See my "Engine Bay Rattle" thread for an update on what is happening...if you're interested :P Essentially though, I had to put the car at stock until I get it back.

if u install it urself Ronny - make sure u have access to a lift -
much easier.

Yea, I am not sure I'll be able to find a lift. Will most likely have to put the car on ramps :-/

I wish, man. I have to have the car back in the shop to get a part put on it under warranty, and don't want them freaking over the dp. I also just got the cobb ap and they recommended I not put on the dp while running stage 1 maps :-/
