Lux Angel Help

Hi I am trying to install the Lux H8s in my 2009 328 xi. I managed to get the passenger side done but I'm having trouble with the driver's side. The air filter is in the way and I can't seem to get in there well enough.

Anyone have any tips?

yeah, i have an e90, but as far as i know, its easy: 2 bolts on the right side, undo the filter from the front of the car and also, loosen the hose clamp towards the rear. Dont forget to undo the little clip on top of the hose clamp area.

It's also extremely helpful if you remove the small lid on top of the headlight housing, so that you can look into the area where you're inserting the H8 bulb to make sure you can view as you're locking it into place.

are you working on an e90 or e92? I installed mine on my old e92 multiple times going through the lid on the top. Never touched the air filter once in my e92 or e90. Yea your hand gets jacked up from jamming it into the housing buts its definitely doable.

I did, but I have a 335. My air filter was not in the way. You just need small hands.

Ok thanks, going to do the install tomorrow.

I've also noticed that the one Angel that I did install looks almost blueish as opposed to white. ANyone else notice this or did I get the wrong ones?
