What's your ethnic heritage? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I'm always interested to know people's ethnic backgrounds, so I figured I'd make a thread here on it. Importantly: let's keep it nice - no ethnic comments that would go past any lines.

My background:
Middle Eastern/Arab (father's side).
East Indian (father's side).
Scandinavian (mother's side).
French Canadian (mother's side).
First Nations Canadian (Haida tribe; mother's side).

I'm pretty proud of my ethnic background - it's definitely interesting having family backgrounds that span such a wide variety of people and places.

I'm also pretty much my own United Nations.

So, how about all of you?

From what I have been told I'm a mix of Irish, Scottish and Polish. I've never gotten a solid answer from either of my parents. Honestly it doesn't bother me though, I'm American and where my family may have originated from doesn't really define anything about me.

Yeah, your home nation is definitely the most important attribute out of everything. For me, I'm proudly an American citizens and proudly a Canadian citizen.

I still find it interesting, though, to know where my bloodline comes from, just out of curiosity.

Me and my parents were born in America. My mom's side is 100% Italian and my Dad is a mix of English and Irish.

the other half is a mix of any European that could build a boat in the last 300 to 500 years, with a dash of Native American.

as far as 'pride' goes I am an American, I only fly one flag

About half German, and then a lot of English and Scottish. Im a descendent of President Andrew Jackson, which is interesting. Funny thing is I received a scholarship from a Native American tribe in middle school!!! LOL

Spanish on my father's father
Lebanese on my father's mother

Both Parents are form Poland as my Grandparents and so on for generations. So 100% polish I guess...

Mother was born in the Netherlands (100% Dutch) and father is born here but 100% Irish. My wife was born in Bulgaria.
