Adding buttons to the heated seats panel. - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Moving my question from ext/int branch.

I am looking to add an on/off button to the panel where the heated seats buttons are. I currently have only buttons for heated seats.

Is there a way to replace the blank panel and add additional buttons without replacing the whole module? Or do I need a complete new part with additional buttons. Ideally, I'd like to add a sunshade (blank) button, but with a different functionality. This way I can avoid drilling the panel and adding an aftermarket button.

Has anybody done this, or knows how to? Is there a part number for additional buttons?

Please help me folks, or direct me to the right source if any. Thanks!

Has anyone removed that panel and looked at that module?
