Just as a side note, you could go 285/295 on OEM fenders if you get a custom wheel with the perfect offset.
There was a company that made the wider fenders direct bolt on for e92 as well, but I can't recall their name. The had pics with a silver e90 and white e92 both with their fenders. They also made that overlay CSL trunk.

I'm running 245/275 PSS in 18's with no fender modifications whatsoever. And honestly its not even close to the fenders.
18x8.5 et38 and 18x9.5 et35 arc8's. |

245/275 with PSS is no problem. I am running it. Could probably fit a 285 in the back if the wheel offset was a little different. The front is maxed out at 245mm unless you want to change your suspension settings to fit the tire.... kind of defeats the point though if you have to change too much. I am running Morr VS8.

Did you mean that correctly at 255/40-19? That would be a ridiculously tall tire.

I talked to the body shop today. They are going to make the front as wide as possible (275/285), and I'll be running somewhere over 300 on the rear. So hopefully 285/315 will be possible, but I have to get new wheels now

The way I understand it is they are making custom fenders using original ones, but that they will need to cannibalize a third one for extra plastic

I'll be posting pictures as they go along. I give them money, they make my car wider. That's all I know

Yea, I need some more tire particularly in the front (flaring the rear fenders seems pretty straightforward as they are metal). Interested in any solutions for that that don't involve "full M3 body kit".

I'm also interested in fitting more meat under the front. The M3 conversion isn't flared enough to justify replacing the bumper/hood/fenders. If there was a straight up bolt on that added width, that would be a hot seller.

If there were some fenders made for the 335i that have more clearance, that would be the ticket. Or some method like Captain Insano is talking about to modify the 335 fenders. |
