So after waiting to order a new phone since 2009 ... i order one on Monday ... Lumia 800 as had given up on getting an N4.

Then today cousin calls and says they releasing them at 5!! Managed to bag me one with 3-5 day estimated delivery time!

Time to return the lumia before i even received it!

order one for my wife, managed to order the 16gb with 1-2 weeks delivery, the page did crash couple of times during order, or saying no longer available...etc

Fed-up waiting so treated myself to an ipad instead

Gonna hang-on until the new year when they become more available.

That's what I thought, and then figured that if I order now I get it in the new year anyway - so went for it. They only charge you on disptach.

Ha Ha, this phone better be good after all the hype!

I'm confident it will be though, a lot of tech reviewers says its the best phone ever made.

Just checked my CC statement online and appears £290ish has been charged but the actual details haven't shown up. Fingers crossed it comes before xmas as I've seen on some forums where 3-4 weeks wait is actually shipped within a week.

Congrats! I had the same delivery estimate as you so hopefully I should get it soon. I wouldn't mind, but this BB I have is rubbish

N4 is really awesome... once you spend some time customising it for you!

Google Now is stunningly clever...

£289 for the phone and £10 sim only contract - brilliant value!!

I agree. Can't say I've used it in anger too much but when it chirps up about navigation, road conditions, weather etc at a place I tend to go for coffee before I've even thought about it I wonder if Big Brother is really here!

Another one that makes me go wtf! is Google Goggles. I think I'm correct in saying this is available on other platforms but taking a pic and having Goggles come back with usually correct suggestions of what I'm looking at is pretty amazing. Just before I sent the Mini Cabrio back I washed it and took a pic. Goggles identified the make and model of the car just by focussing on one alloy out of the whole picture.

I'm still running a Galaxy Nexus and it's a great phone. Luckily it can still run all these bells and whistles very well. If Google ever get stock back in I may consider the Nexus 4 though. The only thing that lets the Galaxy Nexus down is the camera and that's the only thing I miss about the iPhone 4S.

Sort of related but I'll be interested to read the reviews of the new BB10 handsets.

I was thinking they may never come back in - grab one while you can guys, really pleased with mine!

BB10 is supposed to be good but they have a big up hill struggle to compete with IOS and Android.
