I run Summer tires year round without issue. Winters are pretty light here and it's fairly rare for it to snow.

Okay, cool thanks. I read somewhere that Summer tires aren't optimal under 45 degrees F. I know it gets a little colder that that there, but it prob won't be a big issue.

Been through one winter here and I think it gets pretty cold but not THAT cold. Just got aftermarket wheels/summer tires and plan on running them all year too

It does get somewhat cold here, but usually the temps during the day will counter the cold temps at night and warm up the roads some. Summer tires don't give the best grip when they are really cold, but it is definitely sufficient. You could always switch to the Continental DWS tires if you thought you were still going to be driving someplace with inclement weather. They last a while and provide decent performance.

I'm down... Every Thursday a bunch of cars meet up at the swamp on okaloosa island too. Just throwing out the idea if we don't get much interest on here.

Those meets at the swamp are on Tuesdays unless it changed recently.

So far... I love it! The car scene down here is serious. We don't have 93 octane, but e85 and 100 octane race gas at the pump makes up for it. Going to a meet tonight, I'll post pix tomorrow.
