N55 ISO Tune + Intake Only Dyno

Saw this dyno from Jeff (new guy at BMS) so I thought I would share. He's running the N55 JB4 ISO, flex fuel wires, BMS Intake, and an E40 blend only. Pretty much tune only with intake.

Wow pretty solid numbers. How much are you boosting? Is the Chargepipe still good?

I'm impressed by that timing curve... But I would be interested to see that same dyno and graph without race gas or e40

On pump gas you won't be able to run nearly this aggressive. Perhaps in the 320-330whp range. Next time around they will do some back to back dynos on the JB4 G5 ISO on 93 octane vs. the Cobb Aggressive map same car, same day, same dyno.

In terms of race maps it looks like E40 is enough to basically completely max the turbo out with this timing curve. There may be another couple of HP in there with more advance via a BMS back end flash but I'm not expecting much. We've definitely found the limits of the N55 stock turbo. Right around 400rw all in FBO.

So I am guessing with this and a FBO 335i you should be close to pushing 400hp?!?!?

Yes I posted a dyno FBO E85 only the other day. Around 390rw. Maybe there is a few HP more in there with meth.

go to terry's website and look for N55 ISO on sticky and follow instructions. I did it today and it was super easy... easier than the flex fuel wires install.

I hope you do. I am waiting to get the cable in to install it and see if I can break 400 which I probably won't. I have full aa exhausts, downpipe, cp, aa race fmic, and jb4.

I would also love to see your car in person and ride in it to see if it feels the same as my car. Sometimes I think my car feels slower than what it actually is.

I think it's a must do for all N55s but especially heavily FBO ones. Plus, it's free!
