Hey I'm no spring chicken there brother, I was married for a good 8 years. It was fun. But I learned much. I learned that well sadly as much as I love women they can and will do dumb shit for no apparent reason and then look at you and scream for letting them do it....mean while if you had raised and objection she would have gotten pissed off at you for doing so. This is why you should never ever go shoe shopping with your girl….trust me on this one!

And that’s what this thread was about, an otherwise intelligent well educated and travelled woman making a classic chicken head move. Or so I thought.
Thus the “god has proven me wrong yet again” But turns out I was wrong. What she was doing, if you could keep up with the rest of us was making a move to ensure that she was in charge of the relationship.

Now I don’t particularly agree with it, if you ask me a marriage should be a meeting of equals…that’s where I fucked up….but it’s her life and her call and well I can’t help but feel bad for the guy she is marrying/dominating. Here he was all those years tugging his own while she was out tugging others and now that she is a bit damaged emotionally she is back to him….classic Forest Gump trap.

The way I see it, it's a victory for all the "nice" guys out there. Relationships are about caring/loving the other party and most importantly, being patient. Reading about the way you try and convince your friend that her fiance isn't the right type is really disgusting. Why can't you just be happy for others? And things aren't what they always seem on the surface. You may think you know her well, but people change and as time moves on, people mature and realize that stable and faithful relationship/marriage is more important than just simple, fun one night stands. Clearly, your mentality is still wrapped around having fun and getting laid. That thinking is perfectly fine. But all I ask is for you to have an open mind; to be able to think about things from other perspectives and not blindly impose your one-sided opinions on others.

Also, I don't see where god fit into this whole picture and your misogynistic, sexist one-sided opinions are not always right. In fact, I would say that they are very close-minded, immature and disgusting. Of course, you are entitled to your own opinions and so do I.

I know many guys on this forum do not share the same sentiment as I do regarding how to deal with the opposite gender, but that's what these places are for. So enjoy!
