Mod bug bite...bad

Much like so many others on here, I was never intending on making performance upgrades to my car. I was definitely about helping maintain the longevity of the car, so things like an oil catch can seemed smart, but not really a performance upgrade. However, now that my CPO warranty has run out, that last little bit of inhibition has been removed. Once I had the catch can in I knew that it was time for an FMIC, because hey, it just helps the car run better - ETS FMIC ordered. I should help the car breathe better with a better intake - DCI installed. Since I already have a DCI, I might as well continue to help the engine flow better - VRSF downpipes ordered. With the dp's comes the dpfix...or do I just return the dp fix I bought and put it towards a JB4? Terry says he'd be happy to oblige. So, aside from this being another annoying "hey guys what should I do" thread....

Hey guys, what should I do? Buy the JB4 and continue down the rabbit hole, or stick with the dp fix and enjoy the cash I've spent so far? Don't forget, I just put a bunch of money into the car on the exterior mods to get her looking like this:

Definitely go for the JB4 so you can take full advantage of the FMIC and down pipes.

Do the JB4, you'll love it. I'd say go with the new G5 ISO however if you want to save some cash and stick with the older G4 board i have a 15ohm for sale since I just upgraded to the G5 ISO. Either way definitely do JB4, that makes the biggest difference out of all the mods and you won't regret it.

If you're set on BMS for the tune, +1 on G5 ISO. You're already FBO minus the tune, it's time to make some power man.

+1

But its a slippery slope... Make the car run more aggressive, then you have to make it look more aggressive, then make it run more aggressive.......

Not that I needed much convincing to continue down the "slippery slope," I really appreciate the full-on shove from everyone to keep me sliding!
I'm in for the JB4
Hopefully there will be a cure for this addiction someday, but for now I'll just keep draining the bank account and enjoying the fun it brings - besides the world is supposed to end in a couple weeks anyway

hi Metro. I have a space grey e92.
I got m3 bumper and told myself to make it look good and leave the power mods.

I wanted a code reader and they were around $200 with full cable so I went for the JB4 for the extra value. I convinced myself on reliability mods, so I have DCI, ETS FMIC and my friend gave me his DP's. My next reliability mod will be ER competition duel Oil coolers : )

Get the JB4 .. it's a multi-tasking CODE reader : )

I lasted 2 days (from when I bought mine) before I bought the JB. Never looked back.

Wow, we're almost twins! I was totally thinking about getting the ER oil coolers down the road - planning on making this a track car once she's paid off.
