Yes it will with some modification, you need to do a custom pipe from the resonator. Costed me $150 for install.

Bought some and tried it. Absolutely zero difference no matter the combination of location, weight, tightness. Big waste of money.

I see. Then, this leaves me no other option but try the absorber on my stock muffler. There is a bracket big enough to drill a hole in N52 Signature. I am not upto spending extra in case I have to put back the stock muffler...

I drove about an hour on the freeway this morning, doing about 85-95 then hit traffic so around 40. If anyone experienced the really loud obnoxious drone (usually when going up hill), I noticed that it doesn't hurt your ears anymore and make the car seem like its vibrating. I leave the house around 6AM so its cold outside, I found that when I am leaving the house the drone would be terrible. This morning it was pretty much gone. Anyway A MILLION thanks to this genius idea, although its not completely gone, I can say its better than nothing and worth taking the 30 seconds to do this.

I just ordered this exhaust and it should be here tomorrow. I have one yes and one no on if it will fit a 06 325i n52 3.0L

Dude it is designed to fit your car. The hangers and everything are all in the place to fit an e90, the thing the other guy was saying is the piping. Basically have to cut off the old muffler, stretch the pipe to be more circular from its oem oval shape to fit the new mufflers pipe, and then weld.

It's good to know I wasn't the only one with drone issue here!! I've tried different combinations, and none of them was significantlt diffeent enough. Although I wasn't up for spending much money to resolve this, the cork thing kinda confirmed the vibration is either the source and/or a contributing factor, so I am about to try this reinforced bushing since it's just 20 clamps from amazon. The exhaust sounds so good without the VRRROOOMM drone around 2k rpm.

In my case, 2 corks per mount was slightly better than 1. It's a perfect excuse to open up a bottle, and put some alcohol in your system

Hahaha it really is but I dont want to open up a second bottle, holidays are coming soon i'm sure I will be able to get my hands on a second cork sooner or later! I'll update once I have a second cork, gives me time to adjust to one seeing how much of a difference there might be!

Make sure to get the synthetic kind. The regular cork can rot away over time with the weathers car faces daily. I will post update with the new rubber bush once I get them and install. I think I am fine with the corks but just feel like it's not permanent fixture. Just my thing...

dang it! wish this was found out earlier. I replaced my AA with a PE cause of the drone. Loved the sound of the AA better (minus the drone at 2k). Now I'm down a few hundred bucks with an exhuast laying around when all i needed was some cheap wine.

AA sent metal hangers with my exhaust but my installer didn't use them. I'm guessing those would have gotten rid of the drone. I'm sure AA uses them on all their installs.

It didn't get rid of the drone... but less. As I understand it, can't completely get rid of drone with all the moving mechanical parts in the car. My goal here is to alter 1000 rpm or less so that it is felt minimum. I bought a few DynoMax clamps to reinforce the joint and the stiffer mount bushing. I am planning to tryan extra clamp to different place of the exhaust pipe to see I can alter the resonance lower... hopefully.

This clamp is the one I am replacing the one came with AA exhaust. There was a slight chance it may not fit (due to the curvature of the pipe), so second pix is the back up one I can put right besides the existing clamp. They just run $8-9 from amazon.

Wow, best sound I've heard on the N52. Much better than the PE in my opinion and 499 ain't bad at all.

Any plans to offer a black system? Or black tips? Or slightly larger tips like 85 or 90mm?

Definitely wanting to upgrade my stock exhaust when the summer rolls around.

We can do black but the cost is pretty high for ceramic.
