Hopefully it's nothing serious George. Since it's coming from the rear, did you try to raise it and rotate the rear wheel? Assuming you put it in neutral and removed the ebrake?

I like the new 4 series.
Last Friday I saw a Grand Coupe in its natural habitat. While way to big a car for my taste, it has mucho presence on the road- a classy car

*update*
so i checked if there is any rubbing with wheels mounted and weight on suspension here are pics: Left tire turning left Right tire turning right - less space than the other side...maybe correlating with the increased sound I am hearing when turning right? Do you think this is the problem? It seems like it would be to me. Also, can I keep running these tires? I am running 12mm spacer, without which I cannot clear brakes. They are completely new. I don't want to spend on 2 new front tires. Next change I will downsize to 235 fronts (245 now). never had this issue with the vredesteins though...maybe they're made narrow? Are you looking for something or just want to see what codes you're throwing?

when i had my M, i changed the diff fluid every 25k kms.... so i guess thats why i didn't have any issues.... it was just preventative measure for me. i changed the diff fluid on the RS recently too since i dont know when it was last changed by the previous owner. did the dealer cover this under warranty? i had to pay out of pocket when i was doing my regular diff fluid changes.

did you pay for the first diff oil change ? cos if you did, i hope they did the 2nd diff fluid flush for free. i always use the SAF-XJ + FM booster fluid.

i could have realistically still ran with that fluid. the only difference is that now the plates slip on each other more to make less noise. i don't think there is any detrimental issue here, at least i hope |

they changed diff oli a week ago, but did not use this special one with the additive to reduce clutch plate friction. switched it now
this was the exact issue: Quote:
