Coolant change without replacing thermostat? O.o

I'm curious to know if we have to replace the thermostat when replacing the coolant? The heater still blows hot as an inferno on 82 (84 being the max obviously) and I usually have it on 80 almost every night. I've only had the car for about 3 years but I tend to drive spirited a lot and that is the reason I wanted to change the oil. Also, the coolant level seems to drop a bit after a year or so and I just added distilled water. I'm thinking maybe the system is too diluted and might need refreshing, would you guys agree?
Also the main question was, do I NEED to change my thermostat or is it still fine for a few more years along with the water pump? I'm coming up on 72k in a little and Ijust wanna get a jump start on the 100k maintenence since I wasn't exactly thorough with the 60k.
Any words will help!
Btw, yes I'm a noob on our cars. No need to ask, I only know so much and I'm learning slowly but surely

It really is. You can read up all you want about how to please a woman, you can look at all the diagrams in the world, but just like the clitoris, you won't know what the hell an apex is before you actually find it.

I wouldn't change the pump or the thermostat unless your having problems with them. Its never a bad idea to change the coolant though. But in reality its probably fine too. Just have the coolant tested and go from there.

Don't worry about it. Change the coolant at 100k or when the water pump dies. It will die, only a matter of time.

You don't need to replace thermostat for a coolant flush... But damn guy, 80 degrees? I keep mine at 62.
