DIY garage door opener

Has anyone done this? My car does not have them built in so I have a clip on my visor, couldn't find anything about this so thought I'd ask.

Just buy a mirror with one built in or just continue to use your remote. not a big deal. Buy a really cool fancy looking remote if a regular one is an eye sore for you.
