Best phone AND mp3 player option yet!!!

This is great! im soooo excited about this. maybe someone else will be also.
For the longest time i have been using a sony ericsson p910. GREAT phone. i still have it. It pairs fine with the car, but it didnt show address book, last calls, missed calls etc. thats a lot of phone type features i was missing...
Today i bought a sony ericsson w900. its an AMAZING phone. beatuful design blah blah blah.
1. the phone pairs PERFECT. it gives me a nice little message when it finds my car and when it disconnects. pairs right away. gives me my phone book and every other option!
2.i also have a 60 gig ipod, so this isnt toooo exciting for me, but for some of you who havent gotten an mp3 player, this might be this best option.
the w in w900 stands for walkman. this is a walkman series phone. it has something like 470 mb internal memory and can take up to a 2 gig memory card! soooo. put 2 gigs of music on this phone, hook it up with the including 3.5mm adapter and that into our cars 3.5mm input and you have an amazing mp3 player and a phone.
for more info visit sonyericsson.com the phone is sooo new to the us that you have to go to the asian version of the site. you can also check ebay. expect to pay about 600 bucks with shipping.
except me, i pad 490. haha.

> i pad 490. haha.

You were ripped off. The wholesale price is 253 ($442).

Vodafone UK gave me mine as a free upgrade. Took a bit of moaning.

Nice phone, though.

axie.

The W900 is not officially released in the US and was just available in some US stores like 1-2months ago. No wireless company carries it. That's why the price is high.

Go to almost any cellphone store in Chinatown or Flushing and open a new Tmobile contract and you can probably get the W900 for $300. Maybe $250.

$490 for the phone without a new contract is considered a good price.

i would pay 38 dollars over wholesale all day long and be totally happy. and the phone sells for 600 plus shipping on ebay. sells for 600 with shipping on myworldphone.com which seems to be the cheapest, AND most reliable site around.
either way im reaaaaal happy with the phone.

SE is the way to go. I enjoy my S710a. You'll love your W900. You seem like a big SE fan.

i would say a fan. haha. i got rid of my nokia 9290 like 3 years ago for a p900 when it came out. upgraded to a p910 as soon as that came out. picked up an s710 a few months ago, got rid of that for the w900, selling my p910 on ebay this week so that i have money for the p990 when that comes out. hahah.

I have a S700i that I was using. I got the W800i because the W900 seems very similar to the S700i and I wanted something different and smaller. I saw the W900 in person last month and it's really nice.
I'm thinking of getting a P990 when it comes out.
