Other than my 'mod' money, I've only fitted one coil pack so far, but knew it needed it when I bought it, so no costs other than petrol and its my weekend car so not really worried about this yet.
It's clear it's not in the 335ds league for mpg though that's for sure! Will look to get big service march next year!

Went for the 320i specifically a, for the looks and b, as it can sit on the motorway all day long. |

I had a 320i as a loaned one time and found at 80 on motorway to not be too efficient. Had a 320d another time and was very good on fuel but nothing as good as my old mapped 325d that would sit at 70mpg at 50 mph cruise control

Nice car mate. Looks like serious fun! And the mod bug bit you hard it seems... I know the feeling!

Any luck with the BCs? I was thinking of going for them but have been put off with the installation issues. The top mounting points of m3 and non m3 cars are exactly the same so don't see how they could have messed this up. Only the bottom mounting part is different and many people have fitted m3 suspension on non m3s by using the m3 rear lower arm.
I was planning on getting the external reservoir version but would still like to know what these are like on urban roads and speedbumps etc. PS did the discs sort out the issues? |

I do find the whole fitting things bit confusing! Surely I can't be the first person to buy the kit? They are sending replacement parts but think they have been custom made. Prob be early jan. Nt really tested the kit properly yet, but chuffed with the fronts. Camber and damper adjustable set at the middle it feels firmer but no harsher than standard, which is good for me. Clearly not fitted the rears yet or played with the settings but will update once fully fitted, tracking adjusted, and been put through its paces.

Thought I'd update this thread as its kind of a diary ( have posted another thread about my woes today)
Not a good day. As I stated just enjoying driving the m for a couple of weeks and ventured into a car park today only to see someone reversing, reversing, reversing, not stopping, no ....... Anyway... The wheel took most of it, thanks to the 15mm spacer, otherwise think it woukd be a rear qtr. Not sure if could be refurbed but will push for a new wheel. Unfortunately 2 panels have minor scrapes. Not gone through the wrap but will need re doing. Confident the paint under will be ok. She has admitted liability and already logged with her ins company and sent me incident number. Just super annoying. Thinking maybe I might get a full 4 wheel alignment done within the claim however that I needed anyway after the coilies. Her bumper looked worse. Don't mess with a 20" raised spoke wheel... So, I'm thinking new wheel, re wrap of 2 panels and a wheel alignment as long as nothing else comes to light. On a plus side, these parts arrived so I can get the rear coilovers fitted, And have started to dye the remaining grey extended leather to black, and it all looks good. I will apply one more coat. Was grey, now black, A few other bits going on but this may cause a bit of a delay, so will update shortly. Ah, happy days......

Well the insurance claim is all ticking along ok and they will be giving it a full 4 wheel alignment so that's saved me a few quid ( they have a hunter machine).
Not done much but have finished dyeing the grey extended leather black. Really pleased with out come. The lower grey bits were part of the actual dash so changing it would have been a nightmare so this was the best option. Bit sad I know but bought these seat belt covers with matching silver stitching Left to do is a set of mats with custom m logos, a full pedal set with matching m logos, and decide what to do with dash and door trims. Was going normal carbon fibre but know wondering about silver cf wrap and lacquering over the top to give deep shine? Only other thing bought is 20 litres of oil of a m3 cutters forum member at half opine oil price so good deal. Enough for 2 oil changes and some top ups. Will be looking to get big service done around 30k miles. Car wash place paid out for a new tyre so have a new conti ordered and getting a pair so will have conti sports all round. Just got to get back suspension sorted now.

Progressing very well Nick.. Shame about the wheel, good that the body shop can hopefully sort it out. Worst case scenario, let me know and I will try to get another et20.
If you are after some mats, let me know. Regards, Chris. |

Your interior
Great work with the black dye, IMO looks a lot better. Surprised the M3 comes with standard pedals, look forward to seeing your upgrade. |

Finally the rear suspensions is fitted. Couple of rubbish pics. Got some tweaking to do to ride height ( dare I say it the back may go up a mm or two. Also have bought a set of 20mm spacers that I may try on the rear ( 15mm at mo) but may need a degree or two more negative camber! Ride is fantastic. It's all set at the medium stiffness at the mo, so may tweak this but at the mo it's oem like but firmer, but not crashy or uncomfortable. Despite the rear fitting kit issues really happy with it. Just got to get the full alignment done, and finish the stancing. Also one new conti fitted on the front. The other one being fitted tomorrow, so will be all contis. And in breaking news the 335d has just driven off with its new owner. Hmmm, new exhaust and big brake kit anyone! :muttley:

Congrats on the sale of your 335d mate! Car looks really good at the new ride height and it's nice to hear the ride quality is decent on the BCs.
I'm going to order e92 m3 BCs soon for my car, where did you order them from so I can sort out the rear fitting kit and save the hassle you had? |

I got them from Corby Motorsport as they were £50 cheaper than everywhere else. Just double check the width of your oem rear shock strut and the new one they are sending if your kit comes with no rear fitting kit. Obviously if current oem different size to the new shock make sure they are sending a fitting kit ! ( 4 x washers, 2 x sleeves, 2 x nuts)
