Mr. 5 intake

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 200.00

Item Interest
I have a mr. 5 intake up for sale, this system has less then 1000 miles on it. I'm selling it cause with my current setup ER CP/ forged dv doesn't seem to fit properly with the intake. I'm in no rush to sell it, I'm looking for 200 for this piece shipped. I already uninstalled it from my car, so its ready to get shipped out.

For the ones uneducated in this setup here is infornation about this intake.

I really just want to see the quality of the adapter connection where the hole was cut in the airbox - if that makes sense.

Quasitime, there are only 2 people with the flange like mine. Zasquatch and myself, Zasquatch gave me the drawing. Everybody normally uses Spectre Performance 8148 MAF adapter per the DIY by Mr 5.

Gotcha. But you are not selling yours right? That said, I don't think it's too much to ask to see the connection quality.

Ditch your HPF IC and get one that replaces those stock bottleneck connectors first IMO. That or ER's oil coolers because I don't believe you have any on your Xi.

Good idea on the connectors. Hopefully you can get the oil coolers soon, because that's really important. Can't believe you ran your car down here that long without any.

If your running an Evolution Racewerks charge pipe paired with forge diverter valves no you will not have enough space to fit the pipe. If your setup is anything different from this setup you will be fine.
