Ordering new 335is for ED...help with build
Hey guys. I'm considering doing euro delivery on a new 335is and visiting some family in Switzerland while I'm there.
I got the following quote and wanted to know what the more experienced members thought of the deal and help with my build. Also, any insight as to what to expect for euro delivery would be great! Build -mineral white -saddle leather -6mt -navigation Msrp is 57125 Euro invoice is 49295 Quote is 49895 plus 1500 holiday cash towards down payment. BMW financing at 3.29%. Questions are -mineral or alpine white -hk stereo for 950 or stick with base audio Any ideas? |

Whatever you do get the upgraded stereo. In the broad scheme of things unless you are a DIYer who can do a stereo upgrade yourself, this is one area that's worth 950 just for piece of mind.

That being said, if we are talking about money wise, I would just get an M3 without nav... it will only be 3k more than your current quote... and its an M3... but thats just my bang for the buck side talking

Also, I had an m3 and like the n54 motor more for dd. I also think the m3 with 6mt is very difficult to drive smoothly especially compared to the 335is. I enjoy modding and will add m3 subframe bushings and m3 front sway which will help being the car a lot closer to the m3 solid feeling. Among a couple basic power adders and stuff for the track. Mines is Alpine but I like Mineral as well and I have basic stereo which is good but go with the Harmon Kardon that is something I wish I had.

So actually......just put a deposit down on a 1m!
Dream car for me, found it for a steal. Will reveal more info when the deal is done. Combines the best of the m3 with the 335is IMO. Thanks guys! I'll post pics once I get it |

The M3 suspension is on the 1M and the M3 transmission is on the 335iS and both 335is and 1M have the same N54 / DME version. Talk about divided personalities, this is at its best.

I don't like white cars but would say no matter what get the hi-end radio.

Remember: 120km tempo limit on the Swiss Autobahn and hidden speed cameras. So go there first to break the car in. You won't be able to resist temptation on the German Autobahn.
