had a friend who would fill up 10-15 dollars at a time... most annoying thing ever to make going to the gas station part of your daily routine.

The fuel pump will be sufficiently cooled. The pump is cooled by the fuel it's pumping, if i'm not mistaken... And I don't think there is that much dirt in the gas anyways, nowadays. The gas has to meet very very stringent requirements. Remember, we live in 2013... Not in 1943...

I have sweated a few times if I would make it to the next gas station, at speeds over 100 mph the fuel goes very quickly when it gets down to where the light comes on, so my tank must be clean! I haven't had any trouble!

I wish my car had a 20-gallon tank so I would only have to fuel up 3 times a month.
I only fill up 2X a month i avg 235 miles each time

LOL, a troll indeed. I looked at those links.

The first one deals with sludge. I thought I might have to deal with that when changing the pump out of my 24 year old honda with 210+ thousand miles. when I dropped the tank and opened it up, it was perfectly clean inside, no sludge whatsoever. So much for that theory.

2nd link deals with cooling of the pump and cost of replacement of over $1000 hahahaha. Anyay, again, running the tank to empty for a combined 500+ thousand miles on my cars with NO problems or issues at all. Oh, and the cost of pump replacement? $75 for a higher capacity walbro unit I put in the above honda this summer.

OaklandR = troll.

there are* alot more grammer errors.. can see why you post links rather than typing something of note.
how do you make so many errors in one sentence.. 3 readings was not enough to comprehend.
and you needed to post the same link 11 times in a row? plus your crap links don't even add to the thread go troll a honda board.
