hey thanks for the reply, i just want a strong wheel, got mv4s on my rear has given up the ghost and has cracked and loosing pressure. granted i do still have the rft on as they where new on when i got my car. Only bought it in oct 12. so i was goin to run the tyres into the ground and change wheels or just to change wheels and put non rft on dependant what my insures say.

Visit your local dealer, they should replace the wheel FOC. It's hit and miss when you're out of warranty but may save you £500 on a new wheel.
Then once the tyres are worn you can sell the wheels as a set of 4 to help fund the new set. |

That's not always the case.

Defo agree on oem BBS's not being able to cope with runflats though. apparently if dealer replaces for free then the new wheel is the made from a stronger compound which better withstands the runflats. Also I have heard the likes of pirreli runflats are slighter easier on OEM wheels too. |

I ran a set of genuine BBS CH's on my old 330d for 4 years despite being 19's and the crap roads around here they stood up really well no cracks and not deformed in anyway. I would 100% recommend these wheels. And they look nice too.
![]() I'd go or another set 100% or a set of CHR's lovely wheel but another bit of me fancies. Set of VMR 710's.... |

Adv wheels are a load of pretty looking dog w#ank. Do a search and read the huge thread of forged crap. Stick with what u know. Bbs and hre and the like of known and proven brands for looks and strength. Not these new kerbside status brands. The sooner they go under the better.

I have a beautiful set of SSR from the states. For a 3 piece forged rim, they are pretty affordable. Have a look at their site.
Your best bet is waiting for a second hand 3 piece rim at a discounted rate rather than paying £3500-5000 on wheels. You could pick a quality set up for around £1500-2000
