I hope this thread stays up to help those that are more understanding and are open minded about buying downpipes.

You should probably look into more of VRSF's recent products. For the N55 they're developing a straight through 3.5" downpipe to mate up to their new 3.5" exhaust. As far as I know they will be the first to do that for the N55... In almost every one of VRSF's threads someone comments saying they copied other companies products when this is not the case... Just because there are a similarities to a quality product doesn't mean it was copied. I've had nothing but good experiences with Tiago and VRSF in terms of the product quality and customer service quality.

funny sh** right there .

my issue with tiago /vrsf my pipes fit poorly had rattle issues been documented on another forum .but i must say when i contacted him he had no problem with sending me a new set and /or refunding my money.so to everyone who wants a a cheap set of pipes go for it there has been plenty of people who had good luck with them .i felt that his cust service was good enough that i just contacted him for another purchace just days ago .i have no issues with doing business with him agian ...im possitive he will take care of you ! oh im also a business owner dont think everyone on this forum would have beat you up so bad had it been worded alittle diferently .everyone wants feedback on the products good or bad ..

Yeah your right wording is everything, but all the intentions were is to let people know and so forth but sometimes when you try to be good and give feedback it backfires because people think Im here to bash the downpipes on their car or their very very nice vendor/Tiago AKA best friend. Guys don't try to justify yourselves on my last statement its just the vibe Im getting at this point. Its okay though if no one on this forum appreciates the feedback maybe somebody else in the future will. And yes I have PM'ed him.

If you contacted them and they refused to talk to you, then it's a case of having to chase them down. How could they have possibly known you had an issue if you didn't even make them aware of it?

It sucks when you run into an issue, but surely as an owner of "8 stores" you should know that customers aren't always 100% satisfied, and I'm guessing you would be upset if they just went and told all their friends not to shop there without talking to you first.

the OP. As someone who owns and successfully runs their own business you should know what is required to provide customer satisfaction. I've run my own business since 1995 and clearly know that.
To be brutally honest your post is chock full of attitude and dissent. The proper way to voice a complaint is to actually speak to someone about it first. As you stated if someone complained about a cup of coffee you'd offer a new one. Now if that person did not complain but contacted outside reviewers or blogs what would you do? You've had no opportunity to make it right. VRSF did just that here, offered to make it right and you complain they should contact you without providing the contact info, come on, as a business owner you know better.
As far as the product goes, I've owned other DP's for VW's, Subby's etc.. Budget parts have certain cosmetic flaws etc that make them budget parts. You even state you did not expect them to be AR quality yet you complain about the cosmetic issues, which again VRSF offered to solve. As far as stating that a local welder, who probably does one off fabrication, stated they are ugly welds that's like me asking Rembrandt to judge the guy who painted my house last week.
Seriously think about your attitude and learn from it and not only will you and your business benefit from it but will everyone else. Good luck.
BTW you have an M3 and a 335, coffee business must be good!
