The T-Rex is not made by Kawasaki (Although they provide the powerplant), but by Campagna, in Canada:

Aerial is one of the oldest names in British Car/Bike manufacturing. Granted they haven't built a vehicle for a couple of decades but it is hardly a shack-built operation.

Oh, and the Atom is for sale here in the US.

It appears that the NA VTEC is rated for 220HP. Also available is a 245HP GM Ecotec engine.

Are you kidding? Everything is made of Atoms!!!

Seriously, you should just do a little research before you post.

They've been making race cars for over 100 years. And what do production numbers have to do with reliability. VW are notoriously unreliable and we are talking about a tubular chasis with shocks, wheels, and a Honda engine. How could this be unreliable?

I like it. A small, cheap, and fun vehicle.
Not to mention you can drive in the carpool lane since the government considers it as a bike.

I'd also feel a bit safer in the VW GX3 than in Atom, which has no side panels.

Good point. If it aint there, it canīt break

But then, thereīs very little parts on a Lotus Super 7, and yet I wouldnīt rely on it if I need to get to an important appointment.
