You sure your 98 is the same as North America gas?

I believe europe uses RON Octane and North America uses AKI Octane.

Therefore 98 RON is probable like 93 Aki Octane in north america.

Yup, at least per wikipedia (not the most accurate place in the world), 98 RON is around 93-94 AKI.

So after reinstalling the ECU, how are we supposed to drive to properly calibrate the computer?

For Andrew, if I have the stage 2 tune and installed catless headers and I want a reflash, do I pay brand new price or reflash price?

I recently got my car back from the dealership after my waterpump/t-stat had to get replaced. How would one know if they still have the tune installed or not? Can you scan it using a OBD-11 tool?

What if it was erased? I'm in winter-mode now so the car is slow and sluggish and I can't feel differences really.

We can fix it for some reason some of the cars wants a smoother transition. We have now implemented it into all tunes to avoid this.

We have only tuned one car with headers and we are working closely with the customer to fix the o2 option. We are half way there

As with all of our tunes O2 delete's are $200.

ok, I just installed the tune about 2 weeks ago, and just after the install service engine soon light came on along with a misfire after. Codes p0171/p0174 system to lean bank 1 & bank 2. I am currently communicating with Zac and Karl though email to hopefully resolve this. It just sucks to not be local.

Clean the Maf sensor. Buy the cleaner at autozone and have the light reset at a local shop.

It's probably AFE DCI. See if they can tune it for the intake. Also I know some problems that occur with the AFE intakes can be fixed with spacers for the maf sensor. Not sure about afe dci though.

For Andrew, if someone loaned you MMW catless headers, would you take the time to R&D the fixes and bugs so install is 100%? (O2sims, ses light, coding etc) specifically California compliant even though the sniffer will be obsolete but has not been used statewide yet and pass obd port inspection.

We are currently working with someone with headers remotely using the simon tool.

We should have O2's disabled soon but turning off the light and keeping the readiness on is very illegal.

No I've got the 335 software. I know this is a different thread but had been searching through the forum and found someone on this thread with the same issues so I decided to post. But I am now waiting for the Simon tool to arrive and be shipped and talking to AA directly so hopefully it gets resolved soon. Can't stand driving my car when I know something is up

Andrew,

I love the AA stage 2 tune in my 08 328i E92 6MT. I also have an '08 X3 3.0si autobox. I just figured out it has the N52 motor with the 3 stage intake manifold. BMW rated output is 260HP. The X3 seems to have a very similar motor set up to the '06 330i with 255HP. Do you have a tune that will boost output for the '08 X3 3.0si with no other mods?
