White Smoke From Exhaust = Bad Turbo Seal?

I'm catless right now and every few days I'll get white smoke coming out of my driver side exhaust and sometimes my passenger side when I come to a stop or when I'm idling. The smoke is kinda thick and is white and smells like burnt oil. I'm also down 1/2 quart of oil from driving about a month since my last oil change so I'm thinking oil is leaking into my turbo. I have no error codes for low boost or anything and no check engine lights. I think my turbo is fine except for the turbo seal and I'm worried about the loss of oil and the smoke from my exhaust. Does anyone have experience like mine or can someone tell me the symptoms of a bad turbo seal. Thanks

Yea my car is running great other than the smoke and the smell. And the high oil consumption is what worries me most

Im at 59k. Ive only had dps for about 6k miles i think and ive had full catback exhaust for about 30k miles. Smoke started right after i had my dps installed...i thought it might of been residue burning off but it kept happening. Im gonna have to go back to stock downpipes and intake but i dont have a stock exhaust to use so i hope i can leave my exhaust on

I have the same problem with my 135i. I had catless downpipes catless midpipes muffler delete. I was thinking it happened after i went full straight pipe. I was thinking no restriction so smoke would go out of my exhaust, mine was crazy smoke like embarrasing! lol I put my stock downpipes back on and it stopped smoking. Looks like we both need catted downpipes now!

Yeaa putting stock downpipes or secondary cats back on would cover up the smoke for sure but i'd still know something was wrong. I hate when it smokes at a light and i just straight ahead lol

same symptoms as op for the last 15k miles as soon as I went catless dp's. I'm jb4, meth and dps...been burning about a quart every 1.5k since I modded. About to throw on some rb's and see what that does.

If your car is smoking all the time like that turbos , if your letting it sit for an extended period of time and multiple times , normal!
