Wierd Clicking Noise - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Hi All,

2011 335i with Idrive/Nav.

Once in a while, I get this wierd CLICKING noise around the NAV dash.

It sounds like a wierd rattle but it's not. Sometimes it's when i'm at a stop light, sometimes when I'm driving.

It's like something is 'settling" or clicking on/off.I don't get it.

Any clues?

Try turning off the climate control. If it stops ticking you have the same problem as me. No idea what's causing it though.

Probably your IHKA flaps opening/closing. This is normal operation.
