Thanks JP. Installing all drivers within the VM was what I thought I had to do. My problem was letting the VM have access to the USB devices. I have finally been able to install drivers. We'll see if it works now!

Success!!!! This thread had all the answers in it.

Just finished with digital speedometer with the actual speed and the corner delete mod. I've had my cable for about 6 months but just built up the strength to tackle this project. It wasn't anywhere near as bad as I thought it would be. Just follow the tutorial in post 1.

I live in Orlando. Are you willing to code my 2009 328i for me? I'm willing to pay. I just want my Angel Eyes to be the only lights that are on during the day. Same thing, actually newest ediabas , ncs ect that work with win7 64bit is somewhere over internet for free, since ncs isnt cracked you dont have privilages to make any other profile other than expert one and you actually pay not for ncs and ediabas but for profiles to them. i paid 2000$ with newest daten not long time ago cause i have open garage here in Wroclaw in Poland so its quite usefull for me

You are referring to BMW Standard Tools 212, which added 64 Bit support. However, there is a crack for NCS Expert profiles for it as well.

I heard about it, but my friends from DE claim that using crack changes doesnt save in module, dont know if thats true but already got profiles so it didnt sit on my mind

Hey I did a pre LCI halogen to LCI Xenons and my angel eyes turn off when I start the engine (when the car is in ignition on, it stays on) Any ideas? I've been trying to find the post how to activate the damn lights.

Thats because for 75% you have frm1 and it doesnt prowide proper power to make them on , first try to decode ae bulbs check then if this not help try to change frm to frm2 and get to some wise head to make it work for ya

Hi all,

Tried everything I could find in the thread, including multiple cables, but still having issues.

2008 BMW 335i

The first cable I tried showed black dots for both Battery and Ignition, but INPA kept giving errors that searching proved to likely be a cable issue. So I replaced with...

This cable: http://www.ebay.com/itm/160845701117...84.m1439.l2649 (Everyone in forums recommended it)
I'm using it without the adapter (since it's a 2008 and pin 8 should be open)
I've tried drivers from this thread, v2.6 from another thread, and v2.8 from here: http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm which is the actual chipset manufacturer for the device.
I've tried on a WinXP 32bit netbook, and a VMWare Fusion WinXP 32bit install with the same results

Black dot for battery, no black dot for ignition. Just to give it a shot, I tried to register my new battery in Tool32.exe, and it "appeared" to work.

Any idea what's going on? Any way to confirm if battery registration worked?

Yes. You need winkfp to program the module to update to the latest software along with signing your vin to the module. Very easy process

I have only NCS expert

The firmware of the MULF module is recent.
there 'another way to align the vin using only NCS?
