Hey guys ! I'm trying to trade my evo with a fellow e90 member who is in Florida and i'm in California ... Other than the fees of shipping and it here in California is there tax ? Like since its fair trade wouldn't it be a gift not a sale ? So I don't pay a use fee ? Only 17 not made of money here

Most states will still require that you pay tax on the value of the car when you register it in your name.

how much is the tax generally?

depends on the state. New York is like 8.125%. but yes you will still have to pay taxes.
